Style | Tommy Hilfiger at Specsavers

I've been wearing glasses since my college days after realising during one class I couldn't actually see what the tutor had written on the whiteboard. After struggling for a few days and asking the students around me if I could copy their notes, I eventually booked an appointment with an optician. My reluctance in wanting glasses stemmed from not liking a lot of the styles offered at the time and I've since been through a fair number of glasses as a result.

Most days I end up wearing contacts and reserve my glasses for when I'm at home as finding glasses that suit what I wear (which generally has a retro-feel lately) and my face shape has been a little tricky in the past. got in touch about their Tommy Hilfiger glasses collection* recently and I was instantly drawn to these tortoiseshell glasses. They give me the vintage feel I've been after, work with a lot of my outfits and are comfortable to wear.

Want a pair for yourself? You can find the Tommy Hilfiger collection on the website or in-store.

Style | Jingle Bell Ball with Debenhams

It's been a while since I've seen my legs (or they've seen heels) but it was great to have an excuse to dress up recently for the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball thanks to Debenhams. We had a VIP suite at the O2 to enjoy the evening's acts including Sam Smith, Craig David, Dua Lipa and Rita Ora with a festive party dress code. I'm so indecisive when trying to pick an outfit for an evening so it was good to have such a huge selection of both online and in-store - so whether you want sparkles or something a more understated, you're covered.

Red has been my colour this season - it is Christmas afterall - so I wore this red lace gown by Chi Chi Manchester. I love the off-the-shoulder detail most - it's the only way I've been able to show a little skin in this cold lately! I paired it with these heeled velvet boots and black Dune bag with gold detailing and the new Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint to give the look a kick - go bold or go home right?

Natural Hair Update [Video]

A long overdue hair update / where I've been video is now up on my YouTube channel. I felt like an explanation was needed on the year long hiatus and why I moved away from posting specifically about my hair during the past year.

There's more videos to come so as ever, if you have any requests let me know

The Body Shop Christmas Coconut Collection #Ad

I'm not sure when it happened but I'm now so unorganised when it comes to gifting. I've become the leave all the shopping 'til Christmas eve kinda gal, which can be stressful, but I have a few tricks when it comes to doing gifting last-minute. I like to rely on solid favourites I know a lot of people love, I tend to work off giving what I'd love to receive and if it comes already gift-wrapped, even better.

Body Mist (100ml), Body Scrub (50ml), Shower Cream (250ml), Hand Cream (30ml), Body Butter (200ml)

The Body Shop does this is spades so one of my picks for gifting this year has to be the .* The collection is a gift box with 5 body products inside ideal for the Coconut-lover (or myself) - a shower cream, body scrub, body butter, body mist and hand cream. It's one of my favourite sets from The Body Shop Christmas collection as I've been using items from the Coconut range on and off for the past couple of years. I always go back to them as they make my skin feel so smooth and soft and I adore the subtle sweet scent.

Together the products work so well too. My bodycare routine most days starts with the shower cream with occasional exfoliation with the body scrub concentrating on areas which tend to get dry and discoloured most - my knees and elbows. Out of the shower I'll apply the body butter and mist to finish and the scent has me smelling sweet all day. Throughout the day I like to use the hand cream which has now has taken up permanent residence in my handbag as I always need something to breathe some life back into my winter-beaten hands.

Get it for £30 from The Body Shop here
